Wednesday 9th October - walk *** – Christchurch Park circuit including a picnic – cloudy with some drizzle.

As we had arranged to meet up with my sister to do some gardening at our Dads bungalow while he is in hospital in the afternoon we decided to visit him again. So after doing my exercises in the sunshine, I packed a picnic and we headed off to Ipswich with the sun gone with some drizzle! Once again we had to ride around Ipswich car park for ages before finding a parking spot! Then had half an hour with Dad who did look poorly today before driving to Christchurch Park where we had an hour for a quick walk and lunch. We were lucky to park and headed into the lovely park which is absolutely full of squirrels busy finding nuts! Past the big round pond with a cormorant fishing ending up at our bench near the old bowling green. We had 4/5 squirrel come to eat the peanuts we had brought as well as a couple of magpies:) We then had to whiz back to the van to meet up with my sister and had a lovely catch up chat before Mag and I weeded and cut the grass before heading back to Felixstowe.
